Located in the heart of Nepal’s Annapurna region, MJCL is spearheading two key hydroelectric projects—the Upper Modi ‘A’ Hydroelectric Project (UMAHEP, 42 MW) and the Upper Modi Hydroelectric Project (UMHEP, 18.2 MW). Entrusted to MJCL, both projects are situated in Annapurna Rural Municipality, Kaski District, approximately 250 kilometers west of Kathmandu. These initiatives aim to unlock the region’s hydropower potential and contribute meaningfully to Nepal’s energy infrastructure.
